How does SocialPoints work?

Customers are posting and Checking-in within their social network about the restaurants they like to frequent. SocialPoints tracks those online mentions and rewards them for talking about your restaurant.

Reward Word of Mouth advertising

SocialPoints rewards customers for sharing that vital word-of-mouth advertising that is quickly becoming the lifeblood of your establishment online.

When a guests mentions on facebook/twitter that they had a "great meal at 'your restaurant'" our system monitors and picks up the positive feedback and awards points for the mention. The same occurs when your guests 'Check-in' at your physical establishment.

POS integration for tracking spending

GuestEngine then takes our loyalty program one step further by allowing guests to track their individual sales from socialPoints integration into your POS system. Guests are then rewarded with points for each dollar spent.

What's a "Check-In"?
A check-in is when a person announces to his social network that they are in a physical place through leading social media sites such as foursquare and facebook. This post is then sent to their friends and family announcing where they physically are. This ties your business's name/physical location to viral word of mouth advertising.
How do you track online Mentions?
Our system pick's up all online chatter about your brand when people say positive/negative posts about your restaurant. We assign a point-value (determined by the brand) to those social mentions and check-ins.
How do you assign points?

Our program allows you to assign a point value to online mentions and to a dollar value your customers actually spend in your establishments.

Example:
Get 5 socialPoints for a brand mention: " I feel like having a Big Burger tonight"
Get 10 socialPoints for a Check-In: "John Smith is at Big Burger in NY, NY"

How does it tie into the POS system?

We are integrated with leading POS vendors which allow us to track individual cheques. We can then assign a point value to each dollar spent.

Example:
John Smith ate a Big Burger and his bill was $9.89.
He earned 10 socialPoints for every dollar spent and received: 98.9 socialPoints

How does a guest "opt-in"?
Guests open an account on your facebook or restaurant website and our program tracks all their online mentions of your brand. They can also track their bill/dollars spent on your facebook/website or via SMS on their phones.
Can I customize my socialPoints loyalty program?
Absolutely. You can determine points values, automated offers for frequency, dollars spent etc...
Do I need POS integration?
Yes. Otherwise you are rewarding people for only 2 out of the 3 main areas socialPoints addresses.
Do I need to use your VirtualGiftCards?
At this time we do not offer another solution for our GiftCard program. We want to reward your guests who talk about your brand online and frequent your locations often. By channeling that back into a giftcard program - we ensure your customers are receiving and spending their socialPoints on your brand. Because of our integration into leading POS vendors - we can triple the rate of redemption with our virtual giftcards.
